Nicole

Nicole is the owner and director of Foundations Dance. She has been a dance educator in the Madison community for over 20 years.

Creating a dance training center that focuses on building confidence and joy in dancers has always been a dream of hers. Foundations Dance was created to reflect her commitment to helping dancers develop a love for dance and a strong foundation in dance technique and artistry.

She is thrilled to build a positive and nurturing dance community in the Cottage Grove area. Her goal is to create a space that inspires dancers of all ages and abilities to tap into their creativity and natural ability to move. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiastic approach to dance education with you!

Julia

Julia, the co-director of Foundations Dance, is a former educator with experience in business operations for a national yoga and wellness training organization. Over the years, she has supported Nicole with running Foundations Dance through everything from substitute teaching to opening the Cottage Grove studio location to backstage management at the annual recital. Julia lives on the east side of Madison with her husband and daughter, who has been dancing with Nicole since the age of 2.

She is excited to support the Foundations Dance community and families as we continue to grow.
